Qantas says it plans to invest $400 million to upgrade seats and inflight entertainment on nine of its Boeing 747-400 aircraft - and reconfigure its Airbus A380 fleet.

Boeing's new generation 747-8 Freighter successfully took to the sky for the first time Monday before more than 5000 employees, customers, suppliers and community leaders.
