Buoyed by the improvement in the global economic environment and the resultant upswing in air travel demand, particularly business travel, Jet Airways Konnect, Jet Airways’ all-economy service, will launch the all new ‘Konnect Select’.

Konnect Select is a premium cabin on several domestic routes, effective April 26, specifically targeted at the business and leisure travellers who desire more flexibility, comfort and benefits.

Konnect Select will feature wider and more comfortable seats similar to Jet Airways (Business Class) seats with a 40 inch seat pitch, in a front cabin separated from the all-economy cabin by a divider offering enhanced privacy on Jet Airways Konnect Boeing 737 flights. The services also include complimentary in-flight reading material, a welcome drink, and complimentary hot meals on-board.

Priced "attractively", Konnect Select will offer guests lounge access, priority check-in at dedicated counters, as well as priority baggage tagging and baggage allowances.

Konnect Select guests will also enjoy Jet Privilege benefits, including a mileage accrual structure as per the existing domestic accrual levels for various booking classes, redemption requirements similar to the current requirement for Jet Airways business class, excess baggage allowance similar to current tier-based benefits for domestic routes, and the acceptance of upgrade vouchers as per the current policy.

He said Konnect Select is another "customer centric" product offer from Jet Airways which will offer guests a superior in-flight product that is close to Jet Airways full-service Business class product, at reasonable fares, as well as additional on-ground, in-flight and JetPrivilege benefits.
