Thai Airways International has leased three Boeing 777-300ER aircraft from Jet Airways to enter its summer traffic program.
Thai's President, Piyasvasti Amranand, said that the three aircraft would be flown on daily flights on the round trip route Bangkok-Charles de Gaulle (Paris) and Bangkok-Narita (Tokyo) as well as regional routes within Asia. He said flights to Paris and Tokyo are very popular.

The aircraft will also be utilised to operate seven flights a week on the round trip route Bangkok- Paris (Charles de Gaulle), effective June 16.
Additional flights will be operated on the round trip route Bangkok-Paris (Charles de Gaulle) at three flights a week as of July 16. This will increase the seven flights being flown currently to a total of 10 flights a week on the Bangkok-Charles de Gaulle (Paris) v.v. route.
There are 312 seats on the Boeing 777-300ER: eight Royal First Class seats, 30 Royal Silk Class seats, and 274 Economy Class seats.
