Philippine value-airline Cebu Pacific is offering a promotional P2,999 one-way fare to Korea and Osaka, Japan from April 16 to April 23.

That equates to as much as 70 per cent in savings from current fares from other airlines.

Travel period is from June 1 to July 31, 2009 for the Manila-Osaka route and June 1 to September 30, 2009 for the flights to Korea.

Promotional fares are non-refundable. Passengers will just pay for applicable government taxes.

CEB offers daily flights from both Manila and Cebu to Incheon (Seoul) and twice weekly flights (Tuesday and Sunday) from Cebu to Gimhae, Busan. The airline also offers thrice weekly flights (Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday) from Manila to Osaka.

After the sale, CEB's lowest year-round fare to Korea and Osaka starts at P4,999 one-way, which is still 60% lower than those offered by other airlines

Passengers traveling to Korea with no check-in baggage get a P200 discount from the fare.

For flight bookings, passengers can log onto www.cebupacificair.com, call the reservations hotline at 70-20-888, or visit their nearest travel agent.

CEB has the most number of inter-island routes and flight connections from its hubs in Clark, Manila, Cebu and Davao. It flies to 31 domestic destinations and 15 international cities.

Now on its 14th year, CEB continues to have the youngest aircraft fleet in the Philippines, comprised of 11 Airbus A320, 10 Airbus A319, and eight ATR 72-500.
