Qatar Airways has unveiled the launch dates of four new routes - to Ankara, Barcelona, Copenhagen and Tokyo.

This follows the airline revealing its new routes for this year plus its confirmation that it will start daily non-stop services between Doha and Bengaluru (formerly Bangalore), its 11th Indian destination, from February 22.

From March 30, Qatar Airways adds Copenhagen to its European network with four flights a week, non-stop from its hub of Doha. After Stockholm, the Danish capital becomes the second Scandinavian destination served by Qatar, the only Gulf carrier serving the region.

From April 5, Qatar Airways adds four non-stop services a week from Doha to Ankara, supporting its scheduled services to Istanbul.

And flights to Tokyo start from April 26, travelling via Osaka. Seoul, which is currently served via Osaka, will instead have a daily non-stop service from Doha from March 28.

Starting on June 7, the carrier will have non-stop flights between Doha and Barcelona (it already has Madrid services).

Details of the airline's planned flights to Sydney, its second Australian destination, will be announced later.
