AirAsia’s Big Sale is back with flights starting from A$4* from Kuala Lumpur.

The budget carrier says travellers can take advantage of some of the "biggest bargains of the year" including flights from the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur to Penang and Langkawi from *$4, Singapore from *$11, Phuket and Bangkok from *$18, Ho Chi Minh from *$25 and Bali from *$35.

Guests can also fly from Kuala Lumpur to Hong Kong from *$46, Chengdu from *$53, Kolkata from *$71, Mumbai from *$106 and London (Stansted) from *$247.

The five day sale begins March 3 for travel between September 25 2010 and February 13, 2011.

Travellers can also take advantage of cut price flights from the Gold Coast and Perth to Kuala Lumpur from *$99 and return from a tiny *$53.

Flights from Melbourne to Kuala Lumpur start from *$129 and return from *$71.

Perth to Bali flights are priced from *$99.

AirAsia GM Australia Darren Wright said AirAsia holds only two Big Sales a year.

"In addition, all our Airbus aircraft ex-Australia will be fitted with our new sleeper seats in Premium Class by mid-April, so there’s a great opportunity to book those as well.”

AirAsia, the leading and largest low-cost carrier in Asia, services more than 130 routes covering over 65 destinations including London, China and the Middle East.
