Air Tahiti Nui, the international airline of French Polynesia, has been advised that the strike by airport workers at Papeete International Airport has ended.

The airline is now moving to restore full flight schedules as quickly as possible on routes between Tahiti and the US, New Zealand, France and Japan.

Initially, the airline’s priority will be to move passengers stranded by the dispute. Already, more than 1600 have been moved between Tahiti and the US.

Among the services confirmed for tomorrow is the scheduled TN 101 / 102 service from Papeete to Auckland and back to Papeete.
